Trying to Ditch Your Drugs?

You can do it in East Goshen this Saturday.

It really isn't as bad as it sounds.

The Westtown-East Goshen Police Department is hosting a drug take-back event on Saturday, Oct 6, at the Westtown Giant.

The event, which is a part of the National Take Back Initiative spearheaded by the U.S. DEA, allows area residents to turn in their expired or unused prescription medication for safe disposal. Since drugs disposed of in the trash or in a toilet can find their way into the water supply or unwanted hands, officials say events like these are the best way to get rid of unneeded prescription medicine.
