A three car accident brought afternoon rush hour to a crawl for about 30 minutes Thursday at the intersection of West Chester Pike and route 352.
No one was seriously injured according to the driver of the most heavily damaged vehicle whose hatchback sedan was crumpled on the back and left side.
The accident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. In the westbound lanes of Route 3/West Chester Pike in front of the Westtown Business Center entrance.
The other two cars involved, a Pontiac sedan and a pick up truck were able to drive away from the scene once it was cleared by police at about 4:35 p.m..
The accident snarled traffic in both directions of West Chester Pike and for drivers turning west onto Route 3 from 352.
