Resident Finds a Stranger Sleeping in Bed

The following information is provided by the West Chester Police Department.

One West Chester resident got a surprise when they found a stranger sleeping in their bed, according to a release from the West Chester Police Department.

According to reports, police were called to a home on the 400 block of Walnut Street on Dec 15 when a resident of the house found an unknown person asleep in a bed on the second floor of the house. The sleeping man, a 22-year-old Clifton Heights resident ran from the cops and, upon being apprehended, has held on suspicion of criminal trespassing.

An infestation of the house by police found damage done to the front door of the residence. Police say that the damage appears to be caused by a forced entry.
