Police: Woman Finds Stranger Sleeping in Her Car

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Possession: On Oct. 11, at approximately 7:45 a.m., West Chester police responded to the 700 block of Scotch Way in East Bradford Township for a report of a suspicious person.  The complainant advised an unknown person was sleeping in her car.  As a result of investigation, police arrested 19-year-old West Chester resident Matthew Scott for alleged drug possession.

Burglary: On Oct. 10, at approximately 11:42 p.m. police responded to the 300 block of West Biddle Street for the report of an unwanted subject inside the residence refusing to leave.  Upon arrival Matthew Dixon was arrested for alleged burglary and stalking.  Further investigation by police found that Dixon had allegedly and repeatedly entered the residence of the victim by climbing through the second floor bathroom window to confront the victim.  Dixon was allegedly a previous boyfriend of the victim at that address and has disregarded many communications to the defendant to stay away from the victim and her house.  Dixon was allegedly found to be extremely intoxicated and held until the morning.
