Police: Man Found to be in Possession of Gun, Marijuana

All suspects innocent until proven guilty.

DUI: On Feb. 17, West Chester Police arrested West Chester resident Daniel Strong in the 50 block of West Union Street for an alleged DUI.  Police pulled Strong over after he was observed allegedly driving with his headlights off.  Strong allegedly failed a battery of field sobriety tests, and he was taken to the Chester County Hospital for blood alcohol content testing.

Handgun Possession: On Feb 19., employees of Barnaby’s Restaurant flagged down police in the 50 block of Sharon Alley.  Restaurant employees stated that there was an altercation involving a subject who had a gun.  Officers made contact with Edwin Anderson, a 21-year-old homeless man.  Investigation revealed that Anderson allegedly physically assaulted two subjects, and when detained for these actions, he allegedly tried to draw a handgun and point it at bar employees.  Police also allege that Anderson was found in possession of several small jars of marijuana.

Domestic Dispute: Police arrested Mark Sebton on Feb. 19 for his alleged involvement in a domestic dispute.  Sebton waas arraigned and sent to Chester County Prison with bail set at $5,000.
