Police Find Driver Asleep at the Wheel on 202
The driver was charged with DUI, according to Westtown-East Goshen Police.

Man Asleep at the Wheel on 202
On Sunday at 4:35 a.m., Westtown-East Goshen Police responded to the southbound lane of 202, approximately 50 north of the road’s intersection with 926 in Westtown Township, for a vehicle stopped in the left hand travel lane. According to police, officers located a silver Pontiac Grand Am stopped in the lane and the driver asleep behind the steering wheel. Police woke the man, and upon doing so detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath, police say. After failing several field sobriety tests, police arrested the driver, a 24-year-old Garnet Valley man, and charged him with DUI.

DUI Arrest on West Chester Pike
On Monday at 2:21 a.m., Westtown-East Goshen Police stopped a white Chevy pick-up for traveling on the 1500 block of West Chester Pike in Westtown Township with a broken headlight. According to the department, police detected an odor of alcoholic beverage on the driver’s breath. The defendant, a 22-year-old Newtown Square man, took and failed a series of field sobriety tests and was arrested and charged with DUI.
