Police: Drug Bust at 7-Eleven

The following information is provided by the West Chester Police Department.

A disturbance at the High Street 7-Eleven lead police to arresting one man on drug charges, according to a release from the West Chester Police Department.

According to reports, police were called to the convenience store at approximately 2 a.m. Nov 21 in response to a disturbance at the store.  Upon arrival, officers observed a man walking away “in a staggered gait” who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol “to a degree he was a danger to himself or others,” according to reports.

Police say that they identified the 50-year-old man and, upon taking him into custody and searching him, found marijuana on his person. The man was arraigned on possession charges and sent to Chester County Prison when he was unable to make bail.
