Police Blotter: Traffic Stop Leads to DUI

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

DUI: arrested Joseph Wolanin on Dec. 30, at 9:14 p.m., for an alleged DUI.  Wolanin was observed making a traffic violation at the intersection of East Gay Street and Bolmar Street.  During the course of the traffic stop, police allegedly found Wolanin to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.  After allegedly failing a battery of field coordination tests, he was taken into custody.

Burglary: On Dec. 31, police arrested 20-year-old Downingtown resident Dylan Roberts after he was located at 519 East Market Street.  Roberts had a warrant out for his arrest for an alleged burglary in West Whiteland Township.  Roberts was taken into custody without incident where he was allegedly found to be in possession of marijuana.  Roberts was turned over to the West Whiteland police force.

DUI: Police responded to the intersection of East Market Street and Adams Street on Dec. 28, at 8:01 p.m., for a motor vehicle accident.  As a result of the investigation, police arrested 33-year-old Oreland resident John Remmey IV for an alleged DUI.

Drugs: On Dec. 28, at 11:25 p.m. police responded to the 100 block of East Prescott Alley after a report of three males possibly engaged in a drug-related transaction.  As a result of an investigation, police arrested 18-year-old West Chester resident Marquel Jacobs for alleged marijuana possession.
