Police Blotter: Man Tries to Rob Jazmine Restaurant

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Assault: arrested a 22-year-old male on the 200 block of North Everhart Street for alleged aggravated assault, domestic assault and resisting arrest on Dec. 23.  Police arrived on the scene and allegedly saw evidence of an assault.  While trying to take the suspect into custody, the suspect allegedly hit one of the police officers.  The suspect was sent to Chester County prison in lieu of posting bail."

Burglary: On Dec. 25 at 12:06 a.m. police responded to the at 344 West Gay Street after a report of an alarm activation.  Upon arrival police observed that the rear door was damaged and that entry to the building had been gained via a shattered window.  As a result of the ensuing investigation, police arrested 23-year-old West Chester resident Christian Chino-Parra for alleged burglary, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and public drunkenness.

DUI: At 3 a.m., on Dec. 24, police arrested 22-year-old David Palic for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol.  Police observed Palic allegedly commit a traffic violation, and the police then subsequently stopped him.  After Palic allegedly failed a field sobriety test he was taken into custody.
