Police Blotter: Woman Strikes Two Parked Cars, gets DUI
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
Stalking: On Dec. 23, arrested Sewell, N.J., resident Jarrod Zemek for alleged stalking and harassment. Police were dispatched to the 600 block of South High Street for a report of harassment. Zemek was processed, arraigned and remanded to Chester County Prison.
DUI: Police arrested 20-year-old West Chester Resident Raul Galan-Alvarez on Jan. 19. At approximately 8:47 p.m. police responded to a report of a vehicle crash in the 800 block of Downingtown Pike. As a result of the accident investigation police arrested Galan-Alvarez for alleged driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and related traffic offenses.
DUI: On Jan. 18, police responded to a report of a vehicle accident in the 50 block of South Everhart Street at 1:16 a.m. Once on the scene police made contact with 25-year-old Kennett Square resident Paula J. Santry. Santry was placed in custody after allegedly failing a field sobriety test. Santry also allegedly struck two park vehicles on that block.

Tampering with a Fire Apparatus: On Jan. 21, West Chester Police and West Chester Station 53 Fire Department responded to 622 South High Street at 5:05 a.m. after a report of an alarm activation. As a result of an investigation, 21-year-old West Chester resident Michael Driscoll was arrested for allegedly tampering with a fire apparatus, criminal mischief and public drunkenness.
