Police Arrest Seven For Public Drunkenness

The following information comes from the West Chester Police Department.

West Chester police officers arrested seven area residents involved in public drunkenness over the course of a week in November, according to a release from the department.

The arrests, which were made between Nov 4 and 10, are part of the department's "Operation Vigilance" program, which targets quality-of-life crimes in the borough.

Police also made five noise disturbance arrests, three DUI arrests and two disorderly conduct arrests in the same period of time.
