Police Arrest Man on Illegal Gun Charge

West Chester Police arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly possessing an illegal firearm, according to a release from the West Chester Police Department.

According to reports, police approached a vehicle parked on the 100 block of High Street at approximately 2:20 a.m. where a man appeared to be urinating outside of the car.

Police made contact with the 21-year-old West Chester residents and, in the course of the investigation, discovered that the man was in possession of a handgun illegally and took him into custody, according to reports. The man was arraigned on firearm possession charges and remanded to Chester County Prison.
