Philly Man Arrested on DUI Charge
The following information is provided by the West Chester Police Department.
West Chester Police arrested one area resident after a car accident led to suspicion of driving under the influence, according to a release from the department.
According to reports, police responded to a car accident at the intersection of New and Barnard Streets in West Chester at approximately 2:15 a.m. Police found the driver, a 21-year-old Philadelphia man, on the scene. After police issued a number of field sobriety tests, officers on the scene arrested the man on suspicion of DUI. the man as transported to Chester County Hospital and was released on a summons.
The man's preliminary hearing is schedule for January.
