One Injured After Early Morning Gunfire

Police say one gunshot injury was sustained by a victim early Friday morning in the 100 block of East Gay Street.

According to police on the scene, one person was injured with a gunshot wound to the leg early Friday morning in the 100 block of East Gay Street.

A report of “shots fired” went out at about 1 a.m. Friday morning.

Officers on the scene could not comment about what happened except that there was an open and ongoing investigation into what occurred in the vicinity of The Spare Rib bar on Gay Street.

Officers from West Chester and West Goshen were on the scene early Friday morning.

Need more follow up. There have been alot of shootings in the borough lately, that have gone unmentioned in news papers, patch and etc.. Especially around the 100 block of E.Gay St... Alot more than you think.
