Township officials consider sending out a survey to gauge resident support for the police department.
The Daily Local reports that township officials are considering sending out a township-wide survey that would gauge resident support for the the Westtown-East Goshen Police Department.
According to the Daily Local, public opinion in the several special meetings held in East Goshen has been markedly one-sided in favor of the police department.
Resident Jim Shorn told the Daily Local that he would support a tax increase to help shoulder the rising costs of maintaining the police department.
