Man Resisted Arrest During a Bar Fight, Police Say

The following information is provided by the West Chester Police Department.

Police responded to a fight outside of a local bar in late August, according to a report from the West Chester Police Department.

According to reports, officers observed a fight outside of Barnaby's on South High Street around 1 a.m. on August 24. Bouncers appeared to have one patron and a large crowd under control. Upon arriving, a manger pointed to a 23-year-old Malvern man as the cause of the scene. 

Police say the man tried to flea the scene before he was eventually arrested. According to reports, the man was held until the morning and will be sent a summons for resisting arrest and public drunkenness.
