Man Arrested for Sleeping in Laundromat

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

Criminal Trespass: West Chester police arrested Abu Sarnor for criminal trespass after the property manager observed him allegedly sleeping inside the Wash and Fold Laundromat at 510 East Gay Street on Nov. 9 from a remote surveillance system.  Sarnor had allegedly been arrested the previous day for the same conduct.

DUI: On Oct. 21, at approximately 2:21 a.m., West Chester police responded to a reported hit and run in the 50 block of South High Street.  Police observed the vehicle allegedly involved in the crash travelling north on Walnut Street.  Police observed the vehicle allegedly turn left/west onto the 50 block of East Market Street, which is a one-way eastbound street.  At this time police performed a motor vehicle stop.  Police arrested Joseph Allebach for an alleged DUI.

DUI: On Nov. 10, at approximately 12:38 a.m., police stopped 21-year-old West Chester resident in the 100 block of North Church Street.  He was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence.
