Man Allegedly Brings Knife to Bar Fight, Police Say

An argument in a West Chester Bar ended with one patron threatening to stab another, according to a release from the West Chester Police Department.

According to reports, a 23-year-old West Chester Area man was in Jake’s Bar on Jan 25 when an altercation broke out between another patron and himself. The man reportedly threatened to stab someone and brandished a knife, leaving the bar before police arrived on the scene.

Westtown-East Goshen Police reportedly contacted the man at his home and processed him on suspicion of simple assault and harassment. Further court proceedings are pending.
