Drunken Driver Crashes Into Tree, Police Say

Police say a 22-year-old West Chester man was arrested after the weekend accident.

A borough man was arrested and charged with DUI after he crashed his car into a tree on West Chester Pike this weekend, West Goshen Police are reporting.

According to the department, on March 2 at 3:36 a.m., police were called to the 800 block of West Chester Pike for a report of a single-car accident.

On the scene, police determined that the vehicle was traveling eastbound when it swerved off the roadway and into the tree.

The driver, 22, was placed under arrest for DUI and related traffic offenses, police said.
