Car Strikes Road Signs, Utility Pole, Police Say

The following information comes from the West Goshen Police Department.

A Downingtown man could face a summons from the West Goshen Police Department after an alleged DUI incident in December, according to a release from the police department.

According to police, officers were dispatched to Pottstown Pike and Burke Road for a reported car accident. Police on the scene say that the found a Honda had struck several street signs before striking a utility pole and stopping.

Police say that the car's driver, a man from Downingtown, was treated on the scene for minor head injuries before being transported to Chester County Hospital.

He is expected to receive a summons for DUI and traffic offenses.

Why are these fools thrown in cell? All just receive citations in the mail.. No wonder we have so many multiple DUI's drivers.

Because in the police state that is West Chester Area, getting a DUI is now very common. People would be in shock years ago over a DUI and now its as common as getting a disorderly conduct. You would have A LOT of people in prison.
