Alleged Drunk Man Hits Pedestrian

All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.

DUI: On Dec. 16, at approximately 2:34 a.m., West Chester police witnessed a pedestrian struck by a moving vehicle at the intersection of South High Street and West Miner Street.  The striking vehicle fled the scene and was stopped a block away.  Police arrested 23-year-old Steven Snyder of Telford for an alleged DUI and related offenses after he allegedly failed a field sobriety test.  The pedestrian was transported to the Chester County Hospital for a leg injury.
