West Chester Native Dies at 23

April Boyd, 23, a native of West Chester succumbed to injuries suffered in a car crash on the Fourth of July, according to an obituary on the Edward Collins Funeral Home website.

Born in West Chester, she most recently lived in Nottingham, Chester County. She was the daughter of Joseph Boyd, Sr. of Leola and Lola Jean Trivett Boyd of Nottingham, according to the obituary. In addition to her parents, she is survied by a son, brother, twin sister and her maternal grandparents. 

A viewing will be held on Tuesday July 9th between 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday between 10-11 a.m at the Edward L. Collins, Jr. Funeral Home, Inc., 86 Pine St., Oxford, PA.

 A  service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
