WCU Student, 19, Will Be Remembered Saturday

The 19-year-old woman died in an apparent accident near the Temple University campus in Philadelphia.

 

Funeral services are now set for Saturday for Ali M. Fausnaught, the 19-year-old West Chester University Student who died after falling from the roof of a building in North Philadelphia.

According to media reports, including a story posted on Main Line Media News, Fausnaught perished after falling on April 17 from a building near the Temple University campus.

An obituary posted on Legacy.Com says "she attended The University of South Carolina and was on the Dean's List. She was a current student at West Chester University. At West Chester, Ali was an aspiring Speech Pathologist and a Psychology major.

She grew up attending Zion Lutheran Church of Leola and was a volunteer at Corner of Hope, the church's clothing bank in Leola.

Ali was so full of life. She was social and vibrant, and known for her contagious laugh. She loved hanging with her family and friends, shopping, visiting the beach, baking, eating ice cream, and was known as a "foodie." Her smile will be unforgettable.

Tributes and condolences to the Lancaster County native have been pouring in by the dozens on a condolences website.
