What a wonderful time of year!

Many are looking forward to a break in the heat with cooler temperatures forecasted for the weekend, making for perfect Market Weather. It's fun to browse our fantastic vendors without sweat dripping down your face!

Thanks to everyone who made last week's Labor Day Picnic a success. Hotdogs and lemonade could be seen throughout town, and everyone got a nice lunch on the Market!

WE APOLOGIZE: there was a mistype in the recent Newsletter, saying that last week was our Monthly Food Drive. As some of you generous hearts found out, it was not. We are SO THANKFUL for your generosity and willingness to bring canned goods/food to the Market last week!  Our Monthly Food Drive is the 3rd Saturday each month. So bring those goods back next week to help support our community!

We are happy to welcome more and more apples, as well as cider this week!

Ellen April Handcrafted Soap
Ellen April reports that their Lavender Lemon Scrub Bar is back in stock this week. It will be at the market along with their other handcrafted soaps and goodies. Ellen, aided by Dave, will be home making soap this Saturday. The nice guy in their booth is their son David. Stop by to say hi.

Lindenhof Farm

We will bring plenty of turkey and chicken pies for simple and delicious dinners.  We’ll also continue to have fresh brown eggs, fresh chicken and turkey meat and anice selection of pork sausages, chops, roasts, beef patties, steaks, lunchmeat, and a variety of lamb meats. 

Unfortunately, due to the drought in the mid-west, corn prices have climbed significantly.  Therefore, we must raise some of our poultry prices. For this week, the prices will be the same as they have been all summer.  However, the following week, expect to see an increase in poultry prices. Since the corn price doesn’t affect our lamb, beef and pork, those prices will remain the same.
