Get Out: Restaurant Festival, End of Summer Bash, Jam on the Brandywine

  • Why Go: Come celebrate the end of summer with a concert and all you can eat BBQ. Besides music and barbecue, there will be gourmet treats, local vendors, and fun for the kids. Victory Brewery Co. will be there with their inventory of craft beers. This event benefits Mommy's Light.
  • Cost: Adults - $25; Kids under 12 - $10; Concert Only - $7.00

  • When: Sunday, September 16 from 12pm – 5:30pm.
  • Where: New expanded festival grounds include Gay street from Matlack Street to Darlington Street and Market Street from Darlington to High Street.
  • Why Go: There will be more than 50 restaurants participating, nearly 110 arts & crafts vendors and information booths, along with three live music stage areas. Four chefs will compete for the title of best chef in Chester County.
  • Cost: Parking in all Borough of West Chester garages is $5.00 for all day

  • When: Friday, September 14 at 6:30pm
  • Where: On the steps of the Chester County Courthouse at the corner of High and Market Streets in West Chester.
  • Why Go: Uptown! Entertainment Alliance is starting a series of free performances, under the sponsorship of local businesses and organizations. This Friday night popular vocalist Sara Michaels and her band will be jazzing up the courthouse steps. Sara has sung blues, musical theatre and contemporary Christian music, but has now focused her passion on jazz.
  • Cost: Free

  • When: Saturday, September 15 from 11am to 9pm
  • Where: The ampitheater of the Brandywine Valley Association on Route 842 in West Chester, PA.
  • Why Go: Come listen to music all day while supporting a good cause. The Brandywine Valley Association needs you to support the watershed education and conservation programs. Music will play all day at this BYOB event. Kids under 10 are free.
  • Cost: $15
