What's Closed in West Chester for New Year's

It's mostly government offices and liquor stores.

Below is a rundown of what won't be open for service on Wednesday because of New Year's Day:

West Chester Borough, East Goshen Township, West Goshen Township and Westtown Township government offices will be closed Wednesday.

All West Chester Area School District facilities will be closed on New Year's Day. Classes resume for students in the GVSD on Thursday.

PA Wine and Spirits stores across the state will be closed on New Year's Day (so get that champagne before Wednesday).

U.S. Post Offices will be closed on New Year's Day.

All courts, federal, state and county, will be closed on New Year's Day.
