Get Out: STOMP out Cancer, Applebutter Festival and More

3rd Annual West Chester STOMPS Cancer 5K & Fun Run

  • When: Friday, Sept. 28 at 6:30 p.m.
  • Where:
  • Why Go: Come help us STOMP out cancer.  This race brings hundreds of people out to help raise funds for Bringing Hope Home, a non-profit organization that pays bills and provides resources for local families battling cancer.
  • Cost: $25 until September 24th or register the day of for $30

Free Clothing and Food Event

  • When: Saturday, Sept. 29 at 9 a.m. - noon.
  • Where: Bible Baptist Church in West Chester
  • Why Go: All clothing (infant through adult sizes) is clean, sorted, and available free of charge to those who need it.  There is free childcare while you shop. 
  • Cost: Free

East Goshen Township Yard Sale

  • When: Saturday, Sept. 29 at 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Where: East Goshen Township Building
  • Why Go: Township wide yard sale!  Rain date is Sunday, September 30th.  Residents of East Goshen may sell out of their driveways or, if they live in a gated community, set up at the East Goshen Township Building at 1580 Paoli Pike.
  • Cost: Free

9th Annual Applebutter Festival

  • When: Saturday, Sept. 29 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • Where:
  • Why Go:  Come out to the 9th Annual Applebutter Festival. 
    Enjoy homemade applebutter, crafters and vendors, silent auction, performers, children's activities and more.  Breakfast is being served until 11 a.m. and then the grill will be cooking hotdogs and hamburgers.  
  • Cost: Free

West Goshen Movie Night

  • When: Saturday, Sept. 29 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Where:West Goshen Community Park
  • Why Go: Fall Movie Series at the Park.  Come out and sit under the stars.  This week the movie is The Adventures of Tin Tin.  In the event of rain, movies would be shown in the West Goshen Township Administration Building.
  • Cost: Free - but guests are encouraged to bring a dry good item
