Isn't it time to learn
the TRUTH about School Property Tax Independence?
House and Senate Bill 76 are the only legislative acts currently before the General Assembly
that guarantees the complete and
permanent elimination of the School Property Tax. It replaces the
school property tax by an expansion of the Sales Tax with an increase of
that tax by 1% coupled with an increase of the PIT from 3.04% to 4.34%
(a 1.27% increase) to provide for the necessary replacement revenue for
education spending in the state.
On Thursday, January 9th,
2014 the Lebanon 9-12 Project will play host to a Special Town Hall on
School Property Tax Independence. Chuck Liedike, of Pennsylvania
Association of Realtors (PAR), will be the Speaker for the evening. Mr.
Liedike will discuss PAR's Real Reform 76 in support of House and
Senate Bills 76.
The Town Hall will be held at
All About You Catering, 302 East Lehman Street, Lebanon, PA, 17046 from
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The Town Hall is free and open to the public.
