The
Center for Disease Control data shows that 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys are
sexually abused before age 18. But here is the real shocker:  90% of all sexually abused children are
abused by someone they know. Clearly, the message of “Danger Stranger”
awareness is NOT enough. Please join us on Feb. 23 from 12:30-1:30 in the St.
Paul’s Parish Hall (1105 Lincoln Hwy, Exton PA 19341) and learn how to better
protect your children.

Come and
learn from distinguished speaker Elizabeth Pitts, who served as Deputy District
Attorney with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office for twenty years
and supervised the County’s Child Abuse Unit for over a decade. Ms. Pitts has
been a guest lecturer on child abuse and Megan’s Law related topics various
local universities. She is a faculty member of Pennsylvania Child First
forensic interview training program which instructs police officers, social
workers, and prosecutors in child interviewing techniques.

Here’s what past seminar
attendees have to say about a Justice4pakids seminar:

"Justice4PAKids seminars are an informative and valuable
resource for parents. Child sex abuse can be scary topic but a necessary one to
discuss and learn about in order to protect children. The presenters, including
a prosecutor, a pediatrician and an adult survivor, did an excellent job of
sharing everything from how to identify a possible predator to typical signs/
symptoms a child might exhibit. The tips I learned, I incorporated into my
family's daily life. I left the seminar feeling empowered and informed."

--Kathy, Mother of two, West Chester, PA.

“I
learned how to really talk to my kids about sexual abuse without scaring them,
this is just as important of a safety message as Stop Drop and Roll,”

--Abby,
Wayne, PA
