JUST SAY KNOW||5000 YEARS OF MEDICAL CANNABIS

An educational presentation that gives viewers an overview of 5000 years of Medicinal Cannabis. We will also hear testimonies from several mothers from PA Advocates for MMJ. Viewers will have the opportunity to engage in a question and answer segment as well.
Dr. Jahan Marcu will be our guest speaker. Jahan Marcu, Ph.D., is the Vice-Chair of the Americans for Safe Access Multidisciplinary Scientific Advisory Board. Dr. Marcu is currently investigating the pharmacology of cannabinoid receptors at Temple University. He received his Ph.D. for studying the structure and function of the CB1 receptor, and the role of the endocannabinoid system in bone. Before earning his Ph.D., Dr. Marcu worked at the California Pacific Medical Center Research Institute studying the anti-cancer properties of compounds from the cannabis plant. The findings were published in the Journal of Molecular Cancer Therapeutics.
