The purpose of GET ΣTΦKΕD! is to aid and promote the Make-A-Wish
Foundation, while simultaneously allowing our cherished guests and
participants the opportunity to get to know the dedicated brothers of
Sigma Phi Epsilon’s Pennsylvania Tau chapter of West Chester University.
Since 1980, Make-A-Wish has enriched the lives of children with
life-threatening medical conditions through its amazing wish-granting
work. It is our goal and hope that this event will raise enough money to
grant the wish of a child in need and make their largest dream become a
reality.
We will be utilizing the field space of Farrell Stadium for a
variety of other tailgate and family-oriented activities, such as:
- Ladder ball, corn hole, washer toss, etc. – All of your tailgating favorites!
- Dunk tank – Take the opportunity to dunk a brother, maybe a relative or close friend!
- Inflatable fun for children of all ages
- Informational setups – we are proud to showcase our accomplishments
and plans for the future, while giving our guests the opportunity to
interactively learn about the chapter! - Sponsor tables – As a thank you to participants, table space will be available to everyone can get in on the action!
- Raffle baskets, door prizes, and much more!
The event is a great opportunity for our family, friends, alumni and
all contributing members to get to know the brothers of our fraternity
on a more personal, positive, and fun-filled level.
