West Chester Under a Flood Watch

Heavy rains overnight and through Wednesday have created flooding conditions in West Chester.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood watch to West Chester just a little over a week after the region had to deal with flooding from Hurricane Irene.

By Tuesday afternoon rainfall totals across southeastern Pennsylvania had reached the one to three and a half inches mark with more rain expected through Wednesday.

The rain falling on the region is the remnants of tropical storm Lee that made its way into the area yesterday afternoon.
