Travel Restrictions Start Monday on High Street

PennDOT will close down southbound High Street on-ramp to Route 202 north for six weeks

Lane and ramp closures will start Monday (Oct. 31) on High Street (Bus. Route 322) in West Goshen and Westtown townships, Chester County, for overhead bridge repairs, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced today.

High Street (Bus. Route 322) will be restricted to one lane in each direction between Lexington Avenue and Robins Nest Lane, and the southbound High Street (Bus. Route 322) ramp to Route 202 North will be closed and detoured. The lane and ramp restrictions will be in place for approximately six weeks while crews repair a steel beam on the Route 202 bridge over High Street (Bus. Route 322) that was struck and damaged.

During the closure of the southbound High Street (Bus. Route 322) ramp to Route 202 North, motorists will be detoured south on Route 202 to the Skiles Boulevard jug handle, from where they can turn onto Route 202 North.
