Moms Talk: Spas

Our mom council talks about their favorite spas.

Today we have assembled a panel of three local moms to get the inside scoop on what to do, where to buy stuff, and where to dine with the toddler set. Joining us are Nicole Wiley, Allison Treston, and Ramsey Cotherman

Patch: When you get a day to yourself, what local salon or spa is your favorite destination for some well-deserved pampering?

Nicole: on 52 is a no-brainer for a one-hour pedicure vacation. The technicians are amazingly nice, the salon is very clean, and for one hour, I can indulge myself in the guilty pleasures of a foot massage and the world news as provided by US Weekly. Their kiddie pedicures are first rate, too--and the bowl full of dumdum lollipops are a huge hit!

Ramsey: The one time I had a day off (kidding...I've had 2) I went to Annie's Nails to get pampered. It's over in the Walgreens Plaza and it's my go to splurge. The wait is never long and if it's running a little bit behind, I can run to the tanning salon next door for some sun or grab a People magazine at and head to King Chef for sushi while I wait. It's a win-win either way. And I come home cute and relaxed so my fiancee doesn't mind either!

Allison: When I get a little "me" time I like to get a pedicure at on Market Street. I love for their spa services.

Sarah: I have to agree about Calista, that’s my favorite day spa in Chester County, no doubt about it.
