Moms: Talk Frozen Desserts
Our group of local moms talk about their favorite places for frozen treats.
Joining us for Mom Talk today is Sayre Cotherman, a stay at home mom and student; Jane Thompson-Rosenzweig, nutrition blogger (http://optimalhealthmama.blogspot.com/) and grad student; Katie Beck, stay at home mom and part-time bookkeeper; and the author, Sarah Alderman, freelance writer and realtor.
Patch: Favorite ice cream/gelataria/water ice shop?
Sayre: I am pregnant again and apparently the only thing that will satiate me at this point is frozen desserts. I love Kiwi yogurt on High St because they have excellent toppings depending on my cravings and low-fat frozen yogurt. I'm also a big fan of anything from so I would probably give them my second vote with their gelatos. Hopefully, I forget all of this information once pregnancy amnesia kicks in so I can avoid gaining 100 lbs this summer!

Jane: My favorite place to get ice cream in town is but my real favorite is The Creamery at Milky Way Farms in Chester Springs

Sarah: Strictly out of dedication to cutting edge investigative reporting, I dragged myself into D’Ascenzo’s Gelato, the new place on E. Gay St in the Borough. Oh my gaaahhhhh!!! I need to catch some of Sayre’s Pregnancy Amnesia so I forget the place exists. It is so friggin good!!! I was just opining about the loss of our great gelato spot, , last week, and days later I stumbled upon this place. It was simply dessert destiny.
