Moms Talk: Free Stuff
Our local moms talk about their favorite free summertime activities.
Joining us for Mom Talk today is Sayre Cotherman, a stay at home mom and student; Jane Thompson-Rosenzweig, nutrition blogger (http://optimalhealthmama.blogspot.com/) and grad student; Katie Beck, stay at home mom and part-time bookkeeper; and the author, Sarah Alderman, freelance writer and realtor.
Patch: Any free local activities you're really excited for this summer?
Sayre: I have been looking forward to trying one of the outdoor movies in the Borough since I was pregnant. Now that Max is 2, it seems like a good time to try it. Plus, who doesn't love a picnic?

Jane: I LOVE Springton Manor Farm (in Downingtown). It is close by, free, and who doesn't love baby animals!
Katie: Free stuff? I know of none. I'm happy to try out a list of free activities if you'd like to provide me with one though.

Sarah: I, too, am super excited to take the girls to the movies in the park! Marshall Square Park has two movie nights in both July and August, but I never felt the twins were old enough to a) appreciate movies or b) stay up past 8 p.m. But I am definitely not going to miss it this year, especially the July 19th screening of Despicable Me and the August 16th showing of Toy Story 3.
