Pick up some goodies for dinner at home, or bring your appetite and dine on "ready to eat" meals in the Pavillion. There are activities for the kids and live music to round out the evening.

Why Go: The Friends of West Chester Parks & Recreation Inc. present the Summer Concert Series at Marshall Square Park. This free series is held on the last Friday of July, August and September at 6:30 p.m.

Why Go: The West Chester Railroad partners with the Pig Out BBQ Pit for a special train ride with BBQ dinner. Depart the Market Street Station and arrive at the Glen Mills picnic grove where you will enjoy Pulled Pork BBQ, Baby Back Ribs, Homemade sides, Pulled chicken BBQ and Corn Dogs along the Chester Creek. Tickets must be ordered from the Pig Out BBQ Pit via phone at (610)361-8200.
