Here are some family-friendly events going on this week in West Chester.

Sometimes it's hard to find things to do as a family.  So Patch wants to help.  Every week we are going to publish a list of the best family-freindly events going on in the area.  We're looking for things that are fun, close-by and cheap.

Why Go: Kids ages 4 years old and up and their parents/caretakers are invited to drop in for Crafty Tuesdays at the West Chester Public Library. The library provides the supplies for this free activity.

Why Go: The West Chester Public Library hosts a Drop-In Storytime each Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Children ages 3 years old and up will listen to stories, sing songs and work on take-home sheets. No registration is required.

Where/When: , Saturday, June 18 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: Chester County Historical Society opens its library each Saturday to help you learn more about your family's history in Chester County.

Where/When: , Sunday, June 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Why Go: Treat Dad to an afternoon of antique cars, hot rods, motorcycles and helicopter rides at the American Helicopter Museum's FatherFest. Lots of food and fun for everyone!
