Here's a look at this week's family-friendly events.

Sometimes it's hard to find things to do as a family.  So Patch wants to help.  Every week we are going to publish a list of the best family-freindly events going on in the area.  We're looking for things that are fun, close-by and cheap.

Where/When: Chester County Art Association, May 10-14 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Why Go: Chester County Art Association hosts their High School Art Show, showcasing the work of students throughout the county. The show, which is curated by art teachers, runs May 7-14; the gallery is closed on Sunday and Monday. Hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Why Go: Chester County Book & Music Company hosts Storytime for ages 3-6 every Wednesday at 10:30 am.

Why Go: Kids ages 6-18 years old are invited to the West Chester Public Library to learn to play chess or work on their game.
