Here's a list of some family-friendly events going on this week in West Chester.

Sometimes it's hard to find things to do as a family.  So Patch wants to help.  Every week we are going to publish a list of the best family-freindly events going on in the area.  We're looking for things that are fun, close-by and cheap.

Why Go: Wear your most comfy pjs to Pajama Story Time at the West Chester Public Library. Children ages 2 and up and their families are invited to listen to West Chester University students read favorite bedtime stories. Don't forget your stuffed animal to cuddle!

Why Go: The Rustin Golden Knights host their 2nd Annual 100-Inning Marathon Baseball Game, benefitting Rustin's baseball program. Watch as the teams play 100 consecutive innings! There will also be carnival games, raffles, music and concessions. - you can even test the velocity of your pitch on a professional radar from Maple Zone.

Why Go: Hop on down the bunny trail to West Chester Parks & Recreation's annual Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your own basket or bag for egg collecting and meet by the green shed. The hunt begins promptly at 10 a.m., and is open to children ages 2-9 years old.

Why Go: All Aboard the Easter Bunny Express! Hop on board the West Chester Railroad for a trip along the Chester Creek. Enjoy banjo music by Greg Wright and treats from "Peter Cottontail"! Stop for photos with the Bunny at the Glen Mills Station, then it's back to West Chester.
