Here's a list of some family-friendly events going on this week in West Chester.

Sometimes it's hard to find things to do as a family.  So Patch wants to help.  Every week we are going to publish a list of the best family-freindly events going on in the area.  We're looking for things that are fun, close-by and cheap.

Wear your most comfy pjs to Pajama Story Time at the West Chester Public Library. Children ages 2 and up and their families are invited to listen to West Chester University students read favorite bedtime stories. Don't forget your stuffed animal to cuddle!

Chester County Historical Society opens its doors and offers free admission on the first Friday of each month.

Where/When: , Saturday, April 2 at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Why Go: Local children, after a week of rehearsals, will present "Alice in Wonderland" in cooperation with Missoula Children's Theatre. Second performance at 5:30pm.

Pricing: Adults $10, Seniors/students $8

Where/When: , Tuesday, April 5 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

West Chester Area School District Extended Day Kindergarten Program partners with Holcomb Behavioral Health Systems to present "Parenting Wisely: Young Children". This two part workshop teaches parents the skills they need to reduce problem behaviors while increasing communication.
