Sometimes it's hard to find things to do as a family.  So Patch wants to help.  Every week we are going to publish a list of the best family-freindly events going on in the area.  We're looking for things that are fun, close-by and cheap.

Why Go: Watch the talented drama students at East High School perform the classic Rogers and Hammerstein musical "South Pacific."

Where/When: The Chester County Historical Society, Fri. March 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: Chester County Historical Society opens its doors and offers free admission on the first Friday of each month.

Where/When: Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall, West Chester University, Sat. March 5, 7 p.m.

Why Go: Magicians and entertainers perform at the 16th Annual James L. Mosteller Comedy & Magic Spectacular to benefit the Exchange Club Family Center. Bring the family and marvel at the magic of Jay Mattioli, the acrobatics of Li Liu, and the comedy of Kohl & Company and John Cassidy.

Pricing: $18 in advance, $20 at the door
