Why Go: The West Chester Growers Market is open each Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from May through November. Local farmers, crafters and bakers present specialty food items and produce, and musicians are often on hand to provide a fun, fair-like atmosphere. Many weeks include special activities for children, like ice cream giveaways or games.

Where/When: 800 E Lancaster Ave, Downingtown, PA 19335 (Downingtown Friends Meeting House) June 18 and 19 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Why Go: The Chester County Craft Guild will hold its 7th annual fine crafts show at the Downingtown Friends Meeting, on Business Route 30. Thirty artisans will show and sell contemporary and traditional crafts, and several craftsmen will demonstrate work techniques at this indoor/outdoor event. Admission is free. Food is available on site. Sunday hours are noon to 5.

Where/When: 220 Miller Way, Exton, PA 19341, Sunday, June 19 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Why Go: The Barbone Street Jazz Band will perform a two hour jazz concert in the gazebo at Miller Park, Exton. The concert is FREE. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.  Get there early for best spot as a large crowd is expected.
