Flood Warning Issued for the Brandywine Creek

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the eastern branch of the Brandywine Creek

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the eastern branch of the Brandywine Creek in effect until Tuesday afternoon.

According to the National Weather Service, at 10:45 a.m. Monday morning the Brandywine was at three feet.  The flood height for the creek is seven feet.

The National Weather Service expects the creek to reach a height of 12 feet by midnight early Tuesday morning and then begin to recede and be below flood stage by late Tuesday morning.
