Flood Warning in Effect Until Wednesday Afternoon

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Brandywine Creek.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Brandywine Creek in effect until Wednesday afternoon.

As of 7:45 a.m. the Brandywine was measured at 9.3 feet and the flood stage for the creek is seven feet.

And while the flood was forecasted to reach its peak between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m., there is still moderate flooding occurring.

The National Weather Service asks that drivers do not attempt to drive through flooded areas of road because pools of water may be deeper than they appear.
