Flood Advisory Issued for Chester County

Intense rainfall possible, NWS says.

Southeastern Pennsylvania is under a flood advisory through 3:15 p.m., according to the National Weather Service, including a flash flood advisory for Chester and Montgomery counties.

Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are possible, according to NWS, which can result in ponding on roads.

The NWS is cautioning drivers to never drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway.
