Summary: Thirty East Coast antique dealers offer an array of fine antiques to peruse or purchase—from porcelains and pewter, furniture and artworks, to jewelry and silver, miniatures and textiles. The event benefits Surrey Services for Seniors. The antiques show will also feature lectures on great Main Line estates by local architectural historians Jeff Groff and Jim Garrison.

Summary: The Lincoln Room is located in the lower level of The Lincoln Building, regarded as the oldest commercial structure in West Chester. The cozy little room is where you can enjoy tea, coffee, pastries and light meals and then tour the gift shop, which specializes in Lincoln memorabilia.  For history buffs, The Lincoln Building was built in 1833 by William Everhart and is considered West Chester's first office building. On Feb. 11, 1860, the first biography of Abraham Lincoln was published in West Chester. It helped launch Lincoln's presidential campaign, which eventually got him elected as the 16th president.

Norristown Farm Park

Summary: Norristown Farm Park is a beautiful 690-acre tract of nature shared by Norristown, East Norriton and West Norriton. The entrance is on Barley Sheaf Road off of a Germantown Pike in East Norriton. The park is maintained and preserved by the Farm Park Preservation Association and features more than seven miles of paved trails as well as unpaved nature trails, pavilions for picnics, concerts and shows, as well as several historical buildings dating back to the 18th century. Two branches of Stony Creek also pass through the park, which has a trout nursery and a working farm. Residents enjoy the park for a wide range of activities, including walking, jogging, biking, roller skating, dog walking, fishing, birding and photography.

Da Vinci Science Center

Summary: The Da Vinci Science Center's 10,000 feet of exhibit and activity space features experiences that highlight the amazing possibilities that science and technology bring to life every day. Exhibits can be enjoyed by visitors ages 1 and up. Ride the GyroSphere - a life-sized gyroscope in which visitors can experience the same sensations that astronauts feel when training for spaceflight. See a working seismometer that records underground activity around the world. Visit live creatures including hissing cockroaches and Ratty the snake. Check out the special  "Play with Your Food" activities planned for Thanksgiving weekend.
