Deacons are lay ministers, not priests, who according to the Archdiocese "may be single or married. As ministers of God’s Word, permanent deacons preach and teach. They baptize, may witness marriages, carry out the funeral rites at the Vigil and the grave, and administer Holy Communion to the sick and dying."

Libbi is a member of Saints Peter and Paul Parish in West Chester.  He and his wife Nancy have one son, Nicholas.  Libbi graduated from Penn State with Bachelor of Science Degree. He is employed as an Operations Manager for U.S. Municipal.
