7-11 Abruptly Closes Local Store

A West Chester Patch reader alerted us to the abrupt closing of the 7-11 store at the corner of Boot Road and Phoenixville Pike.

A sign on the store which has been a staple on that corner for years reads: "Dear 6-Eleven Guest, Effective immediately, this 7-eleven location is closing permanently. We thank you or business over the years and greatly appreciate your loyalty. Please continue to visit us at one of our other locations... "

There's no word yet on the reason for the sudden closure. A check with a 7-11 location in Exton that the sign directs customers to visit didn't know the reason for the closing or who to contact for more information on the shut down.
