What's Your Take on this West Chester Art?
A local artist's picture caused a stir at a recent opening.
Residents were buzzing about a piece of artwork shown at The Art Trust in West Chester on October's first Friday. Liz, from the Art Trust, has the backstory here:
"At first Friday last week, one of of the works we have in our current exhibit "Bird is the Word" generated heated debates throughout the night (and in our sign in book as well!). People were writing in large CAPS :)
It is a large painting right in the window of our gallery….and will be up until the exhibit closes on November 8. The work is titled "Dead Bird" and it is by a borough artists ... priced at $2,000."
